Qualification for the JAMB Registration Form 2025?

Candidates who meet the following criteria can apply:

  • Must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025.
  • Candidates below 16 years must be declared exceptionally brilliant by JAMB and score at least 80% in UTME/A’LEVEL, PUTME, SSC, and the Exceptional Candidate Examination.

JAMB has implemented a cashless registration system to prevent exploitation. Payments are centralized, and fees are remitted weekly.

JAMB 2025 Registration Periods

For UTME Candidates (Including Foreign Applicants)

  • Registration Period: Monday, 3rd February 2025 – Saturday, 8th March 2025
  • E-PIN Vending Deadline: Wednesday, 5th March 2025
  • Registration Deadline: Saturday, 8th March 2025

For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

  • E-PIN Vending & Registration: Monday, 10th March 2025 – Monday, 7th April 2025
  • Registration Locations: Only at JAMB State and Zonal Offices

JAMB 2025 Entry Requirements

UTME Requirements for 100-Level Admission

Candidates must have at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language.

Advertisements

  • For Law, Science, and Social Science courses, a credit in Mathematics is also required.

Direct Entry (DE) Requirements

DE candidates must have at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in not more than two sittings and at least two subjects at the Principal or Advanced Level.

Accepted DE Qualifications

  • University Degree
  • National Diploma (ND/NID)
  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
  • Cambridge A-Level
  • International GCE A-Level
  • International Baccalaureate (Foreign Certificates)

📌 Important: Institutions must verify these certificates with JAMB before admission.


JAMB Registration Form 2025 Process

Step 1: Create a JAMB Profile

Candidates must use a unique phone number to send their National Identification Number (NIN) via SMS to 55019 or 66019.

📌 Format: NIN 00123456789 (Ensure there’s a space between “NIN” and your 11-digit NIN number).

Step 2: Receive JAMB Profile Code

10-character Profile Code will be sent to the candidate’s phone number.

Step 3: Purchase JAMB E-PIN

Candidates must present their Profile Code at any accredited vendor to buy the e-PIN.

Step 4: Register at an Accredited CBT Centre

Candidates must visit a JAMB-accredited CBT center :  Find the list of accredited centers on JAMB’s website: https://www.jamb.gov.ng

  • Valid Email Address
  • Personal Details (Names, Date of Birth, State, LGA, etc.)
  • O’Level Results (or indicate Awaiting Results status)

📌 Note: Biometrics and a digital photograph will be taken at the CBT centre.


JAMB 2025 Mock Examination

Candidates not seeking admission in 2025/2026 or those wishing to test their preparedness can register for the JAMB Mock Exam by paying ₦3,500.

🚨 Mock Exam is Optional! However, interested candidates must register early.


JAMB 2025 Exam Date & Venue

  • Exam Start Date: Friday, 25th April 2025
  • Exam End Date: Monday, 5th May 2025
  • Exam Venue: At any CBT centre in the selected examination town

📌 Important: JAMB does not assign candidates to towns they did not select during registration.


Special Considerations for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)

Blind Candidates

  • Must indicate “BLIND” during registration.
  • Choose a preferred exam format (Braille, Recorded Exam, Read Aloud).

Deaf/Mute Candidates

  • Must confirm their status during registration.
  • Special indicators will be used for exam identification.

Candidates with Other Disabilities

Those with Albinism, Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, etc. will receive special assistance under JAMB’s Equal Opportunity Group (JEOG).


JAMB 2025 Security Guidelines

🚨 Multiple registrations are prohibited. 🚨 CBT Centres must not collect additional fees. 🚨 Parents/Guardians cannot process registration on behalf of candidates. 🚨 Candidates must not share their profile codes or passwords with anyone.

📌 Penalty for Rule Violations: Any candidate who discloses their profile code/password to a third party is responsible for any unauthorized changes.
