Admission Requirements for HND Programmes
To qualify for admission into any of the HND programmes, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Possess a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant course with a minimum of Lower Credit.

Have five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

Must have completed at least one year of post-ND Industrial Training (IT).
-
Applicants with a Pass in ND must show evidence of two years of post-ND IT experience.
Special Admission Cases
Some courses have specific requirements:

Only ND holders in relevant disciplines are eligible for Post-Harvest Technology and Mining Engineering.

ND holders in Mass Communication are not eligible to apply for HND Public Administration.

ND Computer Engineering graduates are not eligible for HND Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

ND holders in Welding and Fabrication may apply for Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Option).
JAMB Registration Requirement
All full-time applicants must provide their ND JAMB registration number. Applicants without a valid JAMB number will not be considered for admission.
