Position Summary
As a Production Supervisor at Nestlé Nigeria, you will oversee and monitor autonomous maintenance on your assigned production line. Your primary goal is to meet safety, quality, and output targets by strictly adhering to established procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Safety and Compliance: Prioritize and address all safety issues within your work area and the factory. Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards and escalate any concerns promptly.

Operational Oversight: Perform hygiene and cleaning operations on the production floor, including the replacement of outdated or worn-out cleaning tools and equipment.

Production Management: Achieve the required product quantity and quality, ensuring adherence to standard specifications, including net content and packaging.

Inventory Control: Conduct shift inventories and report findings to your supervisor. Ensure proper shift handover in line with Nestlé Continuous Excellence standards.

Administrative Duties: Accurately complete production reports and related documentation. Serve as a backup for line technicians during breaks and act as an end-user in shifts to ensure all transactions are correctly captured in SAP.

Maintenance Supervision: Oversee autonomous maintenance and Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication (CIL) of assets under your control. Ensure materials are used appropriately according to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
Qualifications

Educational Background: HND or B.Sc. in Food Science/Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing company. At least 2 years of proven experience as a line technician in the relevant plant.

Technical Skills: Demonstrated ability to proactively address machine malfunctions. Understanding of factory organization, standard operating procedures, cleaning protocols, and operational modules for assigned machinery.

Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Proactive problem-solving attitude and the capacity to remain composed under pressure.
