Job Details
- Job Title: Account and Admin Officer
- Location: Obanikoro, Lagos
- Salary: ₦300,000 Gross
- Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Supervises: Admin Assistant, Driver, Dispatch Rider, Security Officer
Job Responsibilities
Accounting Duties:
- Record sales and purchase invoices while ensuring accurate billing.
- Prepare an aging report for accounts receivable.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
- Issue cheques and official receipts.
- Maintain financial records, including cash books and cheque books.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Administrative Duties:
- Monitor and manage the administrative budget effectively.
- Oversee office facilities, equipment, and maintenance services.
- Manage office utilities, including electricity (NEPA and generator) and water supply.
- Ensure the smooth operation of office functions by liaising with relevant service providers.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a publishing firm.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
